Oregon Law Center (OLC) is a non-profit organization that provides free legal assistance on civil matters to low-income clients in Oregon. The mission of the Oregon Law Center is to achieve justice for the low-income communities of Oregon by providing a full range of the highest quality civil legal services.
The Hillsboro Regional Office of OLC serves low-income clients and seniors in Washington, Columbia, Clatsop, Tillamook, and Yamhill Counties. Potential clients and community partners can call us about any civil legal problem (we dont handle traffic or criminal matters). Most of our cases fall into one of three areas: family law, with a focus on domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and child support; housing, with a focus on discrimination, subsidized housing, and advice to tenants; and public benefits issues. We have contracts to provide services to seniors in a wider range of problems in all our counties.

In our complex society, people can need assistance to understand their legal rights and responsibilities as they seek justice under the rule of law. This is especially true for low-income Oregonians because they are more likely than the average person to need help with domestic violence, sexual harassment, sexual assault, discrimination,Social Security, health care, housing, consumer problems or employment issues.
