I got a Notice & Information to Heirs & Devisees. He was behind in child support & owned a farm & some land ( he was renting out),lots of tools, & still had some farm equipment. His new wife is the Personal Representative & she's not a fan of me or our girls. So any help would be greatly appreciated. We are still living on assistance through Social Secuity & housing so its hard for me to pay for a lawyer for advice & help for my girls. Thanks.

I called about this last summer but I need to get a paternity test to see if a baby belongs to me or not. I spoke to the mother and she wouldn’t even let me look at the child in question. That’s not the way it was with any of her other children. She couldn’t wait for me to see them after they were born. She also knows I don’t condone her use of illegal drugs while pregnant and that is what makes me think it’s mine because she has avoided me every since she first got pregnant and now she’s pregnant with number four. I want to be there for the child if it’s mine. Can you please help me on this matter?

Important Information

Legal Aid Funding
Legal aid professionals and organizations oftentimes receive government funding for taking on cases with those who cannot afford attorneys. For the most part, funding is limited so legal aid entities can only take on a limited amount of cases. Qualifications are often rigid.
