MVLP services are available to low-income residents of Montgomery County with civil legal issues. No legal service is available for individuals facing criminal charges.

Our attorneys give of their time and legal expertise without cost to eligible Montgomery County residents through volunteering at monthly clinics and help desks and accepting referral of clients for extended representation. The Montgomery VLP offers more than 25 services to low-income households. We have more than 400 members of the Montgomery County Bar who donate their time to assist the clients of MVLP.

Eligibility:

- You must live in Montgomery County, Alabama, and have a civil legal matter that must be handled in Montgomery County, Alabama.
- You must be 19 years of age or older.  A parent or legal guardian can apply for services on behalf of a minor in some circumstances.
- This is an income and asset-based program for low-income households.  Your income and assets must fall below a certain level.

I started buying the house in 2018 before getting the house i was told when stop looking at the property while the men and 1 women was on the property that they were finishing up electral and plumbing work that the floors had already been redone along with the complete makeover to the bathroom after a couple of years past the lights started to blink off and on the foundation is not good my daughter floor is starting to shift badly so i called the foundation people they sent someone out only to find out that they only have one long board holding it up not last got an electrician out to see what was the problem he fixed a problem in the meter box he said was old and should've been replaced during the remodel and he didn't want to touch the panel box after seeing the messes up job with wires but not caps to keep the wires protected I'm a single parent who is trying to provide a comfortable safe home for my kids

Trying to find help to get to see my granddaughter again and also my so getting his visitation back.
