I’m on disability seeking a legal aid lawyer to assist with divorce. Kids all grown and out of house. Seems to not let me see our dog. We have a park model home at pathfinder village we also own the lot. She kicked me out of house and that will be the biggest source of contention. We both want it. It’s paid off value around 30-40,000

Misdemeanor charge, court appearance pine County. Patrol officer issued me a citation based on the statement the driver of the vehicle that rear ended me gave her. He said I was driving radically. The freeway was plowed and dry. The on ramp was never plowed. At the bottom of the entrance ramp, it was ice and snow. I Lost traction and fish tailed 3 times keeping control of the truck, keeping it from spinning around. When he hit my rear bumper the passenger window imploded and the impact forced every thing loose out the cab window. The truck then spun counter clockwise up on 2 wheels over the snowbank landed on all 4 wheels safely in the center median. The truck was still running and driveable. When he rear ended my truck, he was traveling the posted speed limit. However he was not in control of his vehicle, and was over driving the conditions of the freeway in that area. Officer never asked me what happened, she handed me the court summons, and said "If you do not show up you will loose your license". I saw she had checked the box for endangering my passenger.my passenger said "I was in control of the truck until he hit me drivers’ side rear bumper". Slim's Towing pulled us out, we paid him for winching us out, we inspected the rear wheel well and determined I could drive to the next exit. The Highway patrol officer direct the county officer to stop the southbound traffic for us. We drove north to the U-turn, I stopped in the middle of the U-turn for safety reasons, however the hwy. Patrol told us to wait on the shoulder the south bound lane near the entrance off ramp and to wait for Slim's to tow us up the ramp. She used bad judgment leaving us in a dangerous situation and not shielding us from the cars flying by doing 80 mph. inches from my door, near the off ramp. All the officers left the area. We were told to park and wait in an area that was not safe. I determined the the safety of my passenger and my self were at risk, I drove carefully on the right shoulder up the ramps shoulder to Slims shop. I sealed up the passenger window, removed the plastic mud flap from the fender and drove 8 Miles home. : In conclusion, The officer made a judgment order that violated the traffic stop cursor positioning rules. By not waiting behind us in her cruser with the warning lights on, the officer endangered us, and other drivers. and could have caused bodily harm. The citation should be dismissed. I am a 61-year-old Veteran. I Would never drive carelessly in my truck. The freeway was under a winter storm advisory till noon that day, we waited until 3 pm. to go to town. The negligence of the D.O.T. played a factor in the accident. I could only hope for a suspended sentence. That charge at my age could cost me my Commercial class B driver’s license. .
