Mission: Legal Aid of Marins mission is to provide access to the civil justice system to low-income, vulnerable and otherwise underserved residents of Marin County. We strive for practical solutions to client problems through quality legal service.

Services
Legal Aid for Seniors
We educate and advise older adults (60+years old) on:
Basic trust and estate issues
Advanced health care directives
Elder financial abuse, which includes prevention of investment and financial fraud
Older adults may also receive extra assistance to assert or defend their rights in Small Claims court through the Lockhart Small Claims Project
Family Law
LAM provides family law services by referral only. We give legal assistance and representation to those unable to receive assistance from the Family and Childrens Law Center because of conflicts of interest.
