My granddaughter was bit by her father's dog. She is 3 years old. She was on her court ordered visitation. He lives in Crown Point, Indiana. He neglected taking her to the emergency room. I live in Adrian Mi.. When he returned her home i took her to the emergency room. She was bit on the face from a big mixed lab dog. She has puncture wounds and scars are developing. She got bit about a week ago. I'm in fear of her having to go back to his house. Im in fear that his dog will attack her again. I did call animal control and i made a DCS report. Animal control went to his house and told him to quarantine his dog for 10 days and then someone will be giving him a temper test after that. Annabelle is now scared of dogs. She's goes to her father's every other week so she will be visiting shortly again. I have several pictures of the bite to her face. I want to sue him for pain and suffering and for neglecting to take her to the hospital when she clearly needed to go. And if i can sue him for anything else i would like to take part in that as well.
