Legal Aid For Low Income

CRLA serves low income individuals residing in over 22 California counties. Provide quality legal services that improve the quality of life for low income individuals and their rural communities.

As rural areas and small cities of California continue to change, so does our outreach and service to diverse communities. Today, CRLA serves a wide array of clients, while maintaining specialized programs that focus on services for farmworker populations. CRLA clients also include individuals with disabilities, immigrant populations, school children, lesbian/gay/bisexual and transgender populations, seniors and individuals with limited English proficiency.

I have been charged with gross non-negligent,non intoxication, vehicular manslaughter. I wasn't speeding, or doing anything wrong.I have a valid license.There are witness's saying the man came out of nowhere, and if I didn't' hit him she would have. He wasn't in a cross walk,the street was dark. I still don't know what I did wrong. I cant return to my job because I have no transportation. I was studying to get my CDL and was already accepted to prime,but I cant go because of this. It ruined my relationship, Because I couldn't stay on the truck & get my cdl and had to keep coming back for this. I need a lawyer.

My apartment manager is so abusive with her position of authority. She's harassing me by issuing exaggerated & unsubstantiated lease violations. She even forges my signature on one of the inspection reports that say I have agreed with her negative observation. She tried to entrap me on another notice that stipulated if I don't respond within 24 hrs. she has the right to increase my rent. How can I respond to her when I didn't receive the notices she was supposed to send me?
