Advocates for Basic Legal Equality, Inc. (ABLE) is a non-profit regional law firm that provides high quality legal assistance in civil matters to help eligible low-income individuals and groups in western Ohio achieve self reliance, and equal justice and economic opportunity. Generally, individuals or groups of individuals living in the 32 counties of western Ohio and who meet income requirements based on federal poverty guidelines and other special factors are eligible for the civil legal aid services provided by ABLE and LAWO. Our Migrant Farmworker Programs serve all 88 Ohio counties.

Eligible individuals will receive free legal assistance or a referral.
